Frank J. Tipler
Who, right? http://math.tulane.edu/~tipler/biography.htm.
This guy is a physics professor from tulane who wrote a book called The Physics of Christianity where he claims that physics can prove God exists and the miracles of Jesus. Sounds like it could make for an interesting discussion. Here's the discussion from atheistforums where this was brought up: http://www.atheistforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=2301&highlight=.
So remember, when you're feeling very small and insecure,
How amazingly unlikely is your birth;
And pray that there's intelligent life somewhere out in space,
'Cause there's bugger all down here on Earth!

I have not yet looked at his studies and claims, only the odd bits quoted in the earlier parts of that thread but it looks to me like he's just claiming god of the gaps - ie, because he can't understand quantum physics and relativity completely then it must be proof of god.
