Just wondering: Is it possible that inanimate minerals and gasses eventually begat consciousness randomly? It certainly looks that way.

Give them the right conditions and a couple billions years... there's a chance.
Gotta wonder though if the law of conservation applies to consciousness also.
If so, there may well have been an 'initial thought/intent'....
Why would it. That the stuff conciousness is made of, matter-energy, is conserved does not imply that conciousness itself is.
