5 Years from now, what are we talking about in this Forum?

I love science, and the biggest reason is due to wondering what science will accomplish next.

So let's project and speculate as to the topic of scientific discovery as if it were 5 years from now.

There was a good post in the

There was a good post in the Pharyngula blog about synthetic biology. I suspect that this is where most of the advances will be in the next 5 years. Being an aerospace engineer it pains me to say that, as I'm looking forward to the space elevator, but that won't be here till 2037 at the very earliest Cry
