In nearly every sermon Rev Kent Hovind has given, and in nearly all of the video, audio, and DVD recordings of his sermons, he has stated that he was a high school science teacher for fifteen years.

In a sworn and notarized affidavit Rev Hovind submitted to the Escambia County Court on August tenth, 2005, Rev Hovind wrote quote after teaching high school science for fifteen years..." unquote.

My estimate is that Rev Hovind has made the claim at least one hundred times. However, is it true? Has he ever taught high school science? Has he ever taught science in a high school?
