I have been terrorised by religious people for years.
Hello.
I want to know if there are more people than me who have been
terrorised by religious people.
I am a MSc in enginering physics.
We had a wonderful development after newton, einstein and darwin with the deterministic theories because it said god was not needed in the evolution and it is something I believe.
But when quantum theory was developed to be able to calculate propability in the atom world scientists started to say that it was not possible to find a deterministic theory again instead of the quantum theory.
Today many scientists say quantum theory is the truth in the atomic world.
But I think its a big shame to not try to find a deterministic explanation of atomic world.
When I started at university and questioned the quantum theory as the truth I was attaced by some people.
When I said I had a theory that could explain quantum theory with einstein relativity 4-dim geometry some people seemed to hate me.
I draw the conclution that it was religious people who was protecting the quantum theory at the university because it is the only thing that give religious people the possibility to have right in there religious beliefe.
I have been terrorised since 1998 and I have had serious problem with people at the university and they have done very bad things to make my studies almost impossible to finish.
But I made it and I can only draw one conclution and that is that religious people attac students at universities who say they think they have a theory that explain quantum theory.
I want to make clear that it was christians and similar religions that attaced me and not so much arabic religions what I know of.
My question is now if any one else here have had any kind of experience like this at a university?
Have you been terrorised in any other way or had problem in your life because you are not religious?

Out of curiosity what country are you in?
I studied at LTH in south of Sweden in Europe.
I am in Australia and here people are much more accepting of atheists. For the most part people do not care what others believe. I thought Sweden was even more accepting though, apparently Sweden is over 70% atheist if I remember correctly.
If Jesus was born today he would be institutionalized as a schizophrenic with delusions of grandeur.
Yes I know that we are many atheists here in sweden so it is quite chocking for me what I have experienced.
But one thing is to say you are a atheist.
It does not threat any religious person really.
But to say that you believe you have a theory to explain
quantum theory and what really happpends,
is to say that you know how to prove that god does not exist mathematicly.
It seem religious people attac students at universities who is a threath to quantum theory, that is the only thing who give religious people hope of a higher power and gods.
I even explained my idea to two nobel price winners in physics and a senior lecturer, (associate professor) and he seemed to understand what I said, but he is now dead at age of 54 in cancer.

I'm intrigued to know what this theory of yours is. The wording you are using here is quite similar to that which I've seen from people saying they have alternate theories to evolution that explain things better. They sometimes make claims that it's a conspiracy of the scientific field to keep them down in a similar way to how you're complaining about christians keeping you down. So to dissassociate you from these people who I'm sure you will agree simply have nutty and faulty theories (if you can even call them theories in a scientific sense), could you give us at least a brief overview of what your theories are that may work in the face of the currently accepted quantum theory? I can't promise I'll understand it, but I am quite eager to hear it none the less.
Organised religion is the ultimate form of blasphemy.

The thing is that my idea is to explain EPR paradox and wave particle phenomenon by a puls in the 4 dim geometry.
The puls is infinit and is like a black hole but as a spherical shell that expand with the speed of light.
That is the basic of the idea and is then expand to vibrate and so on.
Now its just an idea to explain quantum theory and if it can be proved take us back to the deterministic road.
But it is more the terrorising from some people that this is all about.
I have been terrorised every year at the university since 1998 on both lectures, labs and free time and in my student apartment and so on.
I got phone calls at night and one time a person at a party screamed in my face that he hated me and that he was to kill me.
And the information I have been able to get from the people who did this have been religious.
Now it does not have to be about my theory.
It can also be that I made some jokes about religion and some people told me that religious people would get angry with me if I joked about them.
I did not believe that and have never had any problem with religious people before so I said that I could joke with religion and gods, and they would understand that I joked with them.
So i joked with them as bad as I could.
So it can be that they really did not like what I said about religion and gods and attaced me.
Who could believe that they would hate me for so many years.
I did not think religious fanatics existed in Sweden but now I know and some are compleately insane.

Free thinkers get alot of shit, the greedy rich powerful like things the way they are. Science is the real fight and also repressed. The greatest in all fields have always been ridiculed. Hang in there friend !
Atheism Books.
Sounds aweful. Be strong though don't take their crap. I have never been attacked at the university but I've had other complications with family. My university has been under attack by theist christians who have no right to be there preaching. I got so sick walking by and seeing people eat it up like it was candy i thought I was going to vomit. I wanted to attack their claims right then and there but unfortunately I am no vocal debater.
