Jon Stewart pulls off the funniest impression ever
On Thursday nights Daily Show Jon Stewart fell into the funniest impression I've ever seen him pull off, an attack or parody if you will of the ridiculous Glenn Beck...

That was spot on LMAO!In all
That was spot on LMAO!
In all seriousness, even if I don't like someone, I certainly don't want any human to suffer, so I do hope Glen gets well.
Having said that, he deserves this ridicule. He plays upon the fear mongering and the insecurities of those who lost power. The sky is always falling to the people who are not on top. Our nation will fall if we fail to see that we really are in this together. Glen is nothing but a slick entertainer playing on the credulity of his fans, and does nothing but serve to divide the nation based upon his crybaby attitude that he is not the alpha male.
The founders, were diverse, not monochromatic like Glen and the right wing would like to paint.
The GOP if it is smart, will treat people like Glen and Rush as the leapers they are. Fear mongering used to work, but 8 years later, our nation has wised up. I only hope that we do not forget the past, least we repeat it.
But strictly from a comedic standpoint, John deserves an Oscar. SPOT ON!

Beck is indeed a nut
Beck is indeed a nut job. Funny thing about him though, I once saw an episode where he had Penn Jillette ( atheist ) as his guest and Glen Beck kept Penn on exclusively for the duration of the show. Apparently they get along famously even while discussing the very issues that separate them in the ideological sense. It was like watching a cobra and a mongoose at peace with each other. It was kind of cool, actually.

I haven't missed an episode in years, I laugh at every single show. The first 15 minutes of the show is the mandatory viewing, the interview guest in the second half is almost never as funny as the first half.

On some points Glen Beck is right. Granted, I absolutely hate his subtle attempts to connect athiesm to fascism. But he's a lot like a tabloid; about half the things he says has some basis in truth. It wasn't until I became libertarian (well, anarchist, actually) that I noticed that there is some truth buried under the nonsensicle antics and...:cough: religiousity.
