Am I alone?
I don't watch the news any more. I don't read it. I don't listen to it. I however do pick up stuff here and there.
Am I the only one who knows, who has known, the Trump is mentally ill? Seriously. Holy fucking shit batman. Holy fucking shit.
If Trump was any regular joe he would be the old man down at the end of your street who yells at kids who happen to lose their ball on his roof and complain to the HOA that all young adults are doing drugs and fucking in the streets.
If Trump wasn't well off he'd be in an asylum or on heavy doses of medication.
He's a fucking sick mother fucker, no, he's a sick daughter fucker.
We are all seriously fucked up. We are all in a world of crazy shit.
He's not just nuts or a little touched in the head. The guy is fucking bat shit crazy.

my hope is he'll continue to
my hope is he'll continue to bog himself down in petty shit like inauguration crowd size, so that he won't have time to focus on things that could do real damage. i think the best survival strategy for america right now is for the media to just keep baiting him constantly, because his schoolyard bully personality won't let him ignore it. i hope they realize that.

Or maybe 'stupid' is a better way of saying it; but I have never seen much point in getting heavy with either stupid people or Jesus freaks, just as long as they don't bother me. In a world as weird and cruel as this one we have made for ourselves, I figure anybody who can find peace and personal happiness without ripping off somebody else deserves to be left alone. They will not inherit the earth, but then neither will I. . . . And I have learned to live, as it were, with the idea that I will never find peace and happiness, either. John D. Gartner, a registered psychotherapist from the renowned Johns Hopkins University Medical School seems to think Trump may, in fact, be the one with the problem. Gartner, who teaches psychiatric residents at Hopkins, decided to break the ethical code known as the “Goldwater Rule” in order to warn the American public about the dangerousness of our new commander-in-chief’s mental state.
The “Goldwater Rule” is defined as “the informal term for part of the ethics code of the American Psychiatric Association saying it is wrong to provide a professional opinion of a public figure without examining that person and gaining consent to discuss the evaluation.”
Trump’s Democratic challenger, Hillary Clinton called it first. She said Trump is “temperamentally unfit” to serve as president, following his numerous sexist remarks about women, mocking of a disabled reporter, and blatantly racist statements about basically every single human being who isn’t white.
Gartner, who is also the author of In Search of Bill Clinton: A Psychological Biography, says “Donald Trump is dangerously mentally ill and temperamentally incapable of being president.”
According to USNews, Gartner unofficially diagnosed Trump with “malignant narcissism.” Although he himself has not personally examined Trump, Gartner claims it’s obvious from watching even a little of his behavior that he meets the diagnostic criteria for the disorder. Some of the characteristics include:
Gartner says that individuals with malignant narcissism often lack impulse control and empathy. He also says many who suffer from this disorder believe that others around them don’t recognize their greatness.
As Psychology Today notes, “Malignant Narcissists will go to great lengths to achieve their aim. They can be intelligent, high functioning (hold an important job for example) soft-spoken, charming, tearful/seemingly emotional, gracious, well-mannered, kind and have the ability to form relationships. They may lie, falsely accuse, dramatize, smear, cheat, steal, manipulate, accuse, blame or twist to get what they want and feel justified in doing so. Because they are entitled, egocentric and desperate, they do not experience it as wrong.”
Malignant narcissists are:
As if that weren’t enough, malignant narcissism is incurable.

Where have you been the last 9 years? The same was said of Obama by the people that didn't like his policies and personality. Just Google Obama and each of these terms.

But the bulk of the sane were saying "WHAT THE FUCK" when he came down the escalator and made those vile comments about Mexicans.
But yea, he has all the symbols of a sociopath and a bully, not to metion impulsive on top of that. I can only hope he jumps a shark eventually that not even the GOP can ignore. I don't think he can be put on a leash. I hope he trips himself up bad enough or gets impeached. The economic policies are bad enough more of Reagan's failed deregulaiton and tax breaks for the rich, that will add up to another future bubble, most likely worse than Bush Jr. But in the short term, I do worry about that nutfuck tweeting us into a war or shooting his mouth of in a press confrence, and putting Bannon, sick fuck who ran a conspiracy rag, favoring him over military experts is simply bat shit insane.

Trump also needs to bring back involuntary commitment to mental hospitals. All he does with every post is prove that the far left is mentally ill. He needs basket weaving to go along with his poetry.

Trump would be the first one to go. He's fucking mental. He's beyond basket weaving. Trump needs to be heavily sedated and put in a rubber room with a lovely white canvas jacket.
Yeah
Regardless of where you are on the political spectrum King Donald has obvious mental health issues. From the point of view of his supporters, I think they just want him to follow through on his campaign promises and don't care about the rest. If he does what he said they'll rejoice. Maybe his plan to isolate the U.S. behind high walls and to leave the world to fend for itself is the best option for the next 4 years. Strange and polarising times.

I would have rather had Ohio Govener Kasich. He was the best pick of all the GOP.
Oh come on, you are all that
Oh come on, you are all that gullible? Of course it is a shtick Obama and Trump both put on to make infantile voters think only they can rescue them. The fact that it makes the other side go batshit crazy is part of the appeal. And it worked.
If anything the office turns people into meglomanics because we've allowed one person to have so much power. They both know how to manipulate emotions and are good actors playing the role of Messiah, that makes them smart not insane.
A true mentally ill person spends every waking moment obsessed that the president is out to get them. Is unable to function or comprehend basic facts because of past bullying has made them extremly paranoid. They suffer from extreme sexual frustration.

I'm still trying to figure out why you aren't a huge Trump supporter. In the matter of a couple weeks he has done more to end the "race to the bottom" that you have declared is the root of all evil. He has CEO's terrified that they are going to be targets of his tweets, if he gets his way outsourcing is going to be a thing of the past, free trade will end and Americans can look forward to a future of working in factories. On top of that, he has proposed infrastructure spending that makes Bama look miserly. Isn't that precisely what you have been advocating on this site for a decade?

I agree. Trump's persona is as real as a WWF wrestler's. The danger of Trump is not that he is crazy, it is that he is sane and very effective. A crazy president could easily be neutered and live out his term getting nothing done. There is no doubt in my mind that Trump is going to get more done than any President in living memory.

OK then. How is that Trump and these scientists can have nearly identical DNA, have evolved through the same evolutionary processes, and yet have such totally diametrically opposite goals and motives. Why is it that Trump is 100% driven by greed, pride, vanity and selfishness, while scinetists at liberal univerisities and politicians like Obama and Hillary are 100% polar opposites?
Where is the science behind nearly identical DNA but polar opposite motivation? Is it like being gay where Trump was born this way? How are scientists able to always have such pure motives?

That question is bogus. There are too many variables involved. DNA isn't 100% of the directive for making a person. Experiences are too. Trump is driven by greed. You called him crazy, you are wrong and it is precisely because people consider his TV persona real that he has become president. Continuing to underestimate him will only work in his favor. Trump thrives when his opponents think he is crazy and react to his TV persona. He is very capable , very astute and very self aware.

that doesn't seem to be the story the "rogue" white house staffers are telling through twitter. apparently he throws tantrums, retires to the family residence and refuses to come out, and is constantly heard saying, "who says i can't?" of course, it's up to you whether you believe it or not, but i've met a few stupid bullies in my life. they're often talented at surrounding themselves with capable but spineless people and cowing them into submission. i mean, how much of trump's business success is actually attributable to trump's abilities? especially since he didn't exactly pull himself up by his boot straps. i think he's a spoiled man-child who's been good at using talented doormats all his life. the problem is, washington is full of people just as ambitious as he, many of whom have the same bratty pedigree.

To buy into the theory that the media and society pushes, you would have to believe that some people work against their own self-interest and survival. Evolution obviously would have gotten rid of such creatures long ago.
