My favorite activist of the day: Former Follier
Submitted by Sapient on October 13, 2007 - 4:46pm.Former Follier has been busting his ass this morning behind the scenes, helping to pull together a major scandal at Way of the Retard. Check out our sister site that he heads up: http://www.wotmwatchdog.org
Anyway, we've been corresponding for a few hours in IM, just working as usual, until Kelly reminded me that he's getting married today. Here is how that went...
[4:24:57 PM] Brian Sapient says: aren't you getting married today?
[4:39:33 PM] Former Follier says: Yeah. Just waiting for Amanda to get her hair done.
Anyway... Former Follier, like me, you don't stop. I applaud you, and Amanda for putting up with you. May both of you have a very happy life together, and may she allow you the space you need to help fix the world.
God will fuck you up
Submitted by Sapient on October 12, 2007 - 4:03pm.This song was originally uncovered by Susan very early on at the RRS message board. I just recently found a good video to go with it...

Looking for 50 good men. (atheist activist call out)
Submitted by Sapient on October 8, 2007 - 5:43pm.Disclaimer: The title of this blog is a parody of "a few good men." It is in no way meant to lessen the effectiveness of female activists.
In the last year I have received hundreds of emails and comments from people asking how they can help. My suggestion was always to use our forums and participate in the projects that you see come up from time to time on our forums. For those who are curious, most issues of importance come up in our alerts section. Here is a feed to our alerts section for your RSS reader
Science is fun, breaking the sound barrier video
Submitted by Sapient on September 25, 2007 - 12:01am.Bulldog, of our forums is using an avatar of a sonic boom. It reminded me that the sonic boom videos are some of my favorite. The first video I pulled up today had a nice scientific explanation.
Enjoy...

My favorite Christian of the week.
Submitted by Sapient on September 21, 2007 - 4:18am.Normally I'd make a big stink over how much I like guys like this. People that at least try to "get us." Lost in the mix of our fight against evil in Operation Spread Eagle, I am neglecting to remind people that there are Christians and Muslims out there that could live in a world with others... however it's a rare few. I personally would have no problems becoming silent about my atheism, the moment there was no need to speak up. What the religious people see in me today, they've built on their own deck of dishonesty, ignorance, and hate. So as I say a "big fuck you, and snap out of it" to roughly 50% of the world, allow me to point out what I think a "good Christian" looks like.
It's hard to count more than a few Christian names I can respect. Father Matthew Moretz is one of them, and add John Shore to the list.
Thanks John for being the best Christian in the world this week. Feel free to drop him a line and say thanks for trying.

What the Atheists Taught Me
In my last post I asked atheists to talk about their relationship to their guilt.
I must confess I slept for a while yesterday
Submitted by Sapient on September 19, 2007 - 3:57am.I've reported quite often over the last week about my sleep schedule. I have slept an average of 2 hours per night over the last week with the exception of my most recent sleep. Yesterday I managed to sleep 12 hours. On Monday I went to bed at 7am after being up for about 19 hours. I woke up at 8:30 am, and felt ready to start my day. It was an odd feeling as if my body has somehow adjusted to needing only 1.5 hrs of sleep a night. I ended up staying awake for 20 hours and going to bed at 4:30 am on Tuesday. Kelly had warned me that if I woke up again after less than 4 hours of sleep, I had to promise to go right back to sleep. I was actually shooting for 5 hours of sleep.
Another issue lost due to Youtube pulldown SCIENTISTS PLEASE READ
Submitted by Sapient on September 18, 2007 - 6:39am.This has not been pushed as much as we wanted to over the last few days because of Operation Spread Eagle.
If you're a science expert and part of our community and want to help, please comment in my blog here. Ashley will be reading, she's the lead on this project which will also be featured in the upcoming Rational Response Squad movie.
Kathy Grifin open invitation
Submitted by Sapient on September 18, 2007 - 6:36am.I will be contacting Kathy Griffin to talk to her about her recent censorship, and hope to have her on the show when we can get our audio fixed.
CENSORED:
Please sign the petition to stop censoring Kathy Griffin.

I can't wait til Donahue from the Catholic league, directly names us. He is a perfect example of how last strangeholds of religion will end up leaving kicking and screaming like children, dumb whiny bitchy children. He's indirectly addressed things involving our efforts.
Eminem and Proof freestyle.
Submitted by Sapient on September 18, 2007 - 6:17am.It's in my blog because this is a slice of the sort of music I have a lot of respect for....
This is a very rare Eminem and Proof freestyle. This was an interview that was done with Kurt Loder on MTV when Eminem was coming up. They took the Finale of the show to a freestyle in a car where Eminem and Proof actually freestyle; something that a lot of you emcees "claim" to do now-a-days.
