The atheist group "Rational Responders" have the following blog (to your left) on their website. If you click "read more" you'd see a list of vitriolic, threat-filled, and hateful quotes from myspace members responding to the "Rational Responders'" website. Now I don't approve any of that garbage, I received my own share of threats from atheists. But at first glance of their blog you'd think that this has to do something about Christians... and only Christians. Why, look at the title, it says,

"Christians are so loving..."

But guess what? Not all those vitriolic quotes came from Christians! Some of those people are (as the "Rational Responders" noted) "atheists, agnostics, and other forms of theists"!

Now, some of you are saying what's the big deal? Even the Rational Responders said not all of those emails came from Christians. The big deal is that the Rational Responders used a title solely implicating Christians! Why couldn't they have put "Christians, agnostics, and atheists, and other forms of theists are so loving..." as their title? Anyway, that's like me putting up an ad with the title "Receive a million dollars for free" with the description saying "In your dreams!" What the "Rational Responders" did was obviously biased against Christians, and by doing that they used dishonest tactics. Any journalist would tell you that a title in the newspaper is important to the description of the article and should be consistent.

This argument could be avoided if I made two seperate blogs, one for Christians and one for everyone else. But I didn't. Oh well. Good thing I took the time to point out that not all of the hate mail would be from Christians, eh? That's not good enough for you though, as we see here....

No, you solely implicated Christians in your mind when you read the title. You made an assumption, and were mistaken. I didn't say "Only Christians" in the title. I didn't even purposefully insinuate the mail would be only Christian, as you see I noted immediately that the hate would be from many different types of people. I simply titled the piece something that would get peoples attention, apparently it worked... it got yours.

Well atheists and agnostics don't have a guiding text that supposedly teaches love. Christians, as we're led to believe do have a guiding text that preaches love.
