Brief introduction

Hey guys,

I have been reading the forums for months now, and finally decided to register. I am not a native English speaker, nor a post addict, the main reason to sign up was to show support. I was brought up in a very open-minded, non-religious family in Hungary, so I never considered any type of supernatural entity real. However, browsing through this site every day gave me the feeling that calling myself an atheist having no experience to defend my position and being a freethinker that some of you guys are here are completely different. This leads to my other goal, to educate myself, and I am quite sure that I found the right community to do so.

Have a nice day everyone.

You certainly have picked a

You certainly have picked a very educated group to brain pick from. I would advise you to stay away from Brian37, he lost his marbles a long time ago.

Welcome and good choice. I'm

Welcome and good choice. I'm glad you had a indoctrination free childhood, and it's great you want to learn more to support your stance.I would reccomend also reading the blog articles and essays, lots of info there. I wasn't much of a poster either, but after awhile you can't get by without your RRS fix!

 Hi Marci. Welcome

 Hi Marci. Welcome aboard.

After I found this site, I realized I need to educate myself to defend my position too. I usually spend most my nights just reading various posts in awe of the wealth of intelligence we have here.

Welcome to the RRS, Marci.

Welcome to the RRS, Marci.  You've picked the best website for learing how to defend your position.  Check out some of the links for other sites where you can get news of concern and see some other perspectives as well.  If you have any questions just post them if there's not a thread already discussing the subject.  We come from all walks of life and someone will have a dissertation for you on the subject.
