Hardcore Theists are Atheist?

I'm sure you've all encountered those theists that say they know god exists because of the way they have personally experienced him. However, wouldn't this make them atheist? If you know something, you cannot have faith in it, because it is fact.Example, you don't believe your name is[insert name], you know it is. And atheist is one without belief in a god. So without belief, even if you know god exists would you be an atheist?

I know this is silly on the surface and I'm not presenting it as a serious arguement.Though if theists can play games with words(ie, atheists have faith that a chair will support them, therefore they have faith.Stupid stupid argument) why can't we..

Argument from Sadism: Theist presents argument in a wall of text with no punctuation and wrong spelling. Atheist cannot read and is forced to concede.

 Actually, that's

 Actually, that's hilarious. I never thought about it. That weirdness actually explains why theists would jump to the conclusion that atheists have "faith".

That is, funnily enough, a

That is, funnily enough, a major theme in the film Constantine in which the main character sees hell and knows it exists, thus knows God exists.  The problem this creates for him though is that he does not BELIEVE in God or hell but merely knows hell and God exists, thus, he still cannot get into Heaven regardless of how many demons he kills with his Cross-shotgun or Exorcisms he performs.  So, there might be some coherency to your argument, as opposed to the "Well, Atheists have faith that there is no God" or similar having "faith in not having faith" arguments.

Even that argument has more

Even that argument has more logic than they would accept ... and way too complicated.

Technically, it would make them Gnostics (as compared to Agnostics).

Knowledge is justified true belief.  So, our gnostics would have both belief and knowledge, and the other theists would only have belief.  This is possible because you can believe something that's correct and not have knowledge of it!  If I tell you that I have a playing card in my pocket and ask you which one it is, and you guess the correct card, you still don't have knowledge of it until I show you that it is, in fact the correct card.  You may or may not even have a belief.  You might just be guessing, but have no confidence in your answer.  The fact that your statement was true has no bearing on whether or not it was your belief or knowledge.

Knowledge = Justified True

Knowledge = Justified True Belief

Belief = Conviction that a thing is True

Faith = Unsupported Belief

*****

Faith and knowledge are dichotomous, but belief and knowledge are not.  Since theists' definition of faith is flawed, their assertion that faith is required for belief is also flawed.  In short, faith is a nonsense word that doesn't add anything to the discussion.  Theists (not our hypothetical gnostics) have an unjustified  untrue belief.  Call it faith if you like.
