Call out to those in New Jersey

I am wondering what is there to do in New Jersey, specifically in Somerset and South Plainfield? I am going to be there for a month due to work and I need some entertainment, I can only stay so long at the job site and in my hotel room before going mental. I was in South Plainfield for a week....and needless to say it didn't make me want to move to jersey....actually it has the complete opposite effect, it made me never want to go states side again. So can someone help me out on this little question?

Three words: New York City.I

Three words: New York City.

I lived in New Jersey for 3 years. Ain't much going on.

Get a rental car and drive into New York City. Park in one of the million parking garages in the city. Then have fun.

Actually,  there are quite

Actually,  there are quite a few things to do in Jersey, don't listen to the haters,. Eye-wink  S. Plainfield is a dump but you're very close to New Brunswick, which is a college town with a decent amount of bars.  If you're interested in music check out the Harvest Moon or the Court Tavern.  HM is mostly hippy stuff and CT is mostly crusty stuff.  There are small clubs around there as well but I'm not familiar with them.  Princeton isn't too far either and they have some decent places to hang out.  If you're looking for strip clubs just drive around in Manville or Bound Brook.  There are tons.  lol.

If you want outdoors stuff there are lots of places to go hiking or bike riding.

Or just go to the city. Smiling

Get a hoe - they're probably

Get a hoe - they're probably like 2 bucks there. Just bring a gas mask - the entire state has a very bad odor.

This is New Jersey - EVERYTHING is expensive, lol.

And no, the entire state absolutely does not smell bad.  The only parts that are a tad bit stinky are the ones near Newark and Elizabeth.  There is still a great deal of farmland in Jersey, not to mention mountains and protected nature conservatories.

Damn you, haters... lol.

What's the difference

What's the difference between Jersey trash and Jersey girls?

Jersey girls get picked up sometimes.

What's the NJ state bird?

The housefly

What's the NJ state tree?

The telephone pole.

Why is the birthrate in NJ so high?

The men whack off into garbage cans and the flies do the rest.

Sign at border: You Are Nowe Entering New Jersey. We Apologize.

NJ tourism campaign slogan: We can't think of any reason to come here either.

I believe the proper term is "hatazzz" in that neck of the woods. Smiling

I actually can't say anything bad about my time in Jersey. Property taxes are absolutely insane, though. And you don't get much for it.

But it would be a shame to be so close to NYC and not spend a few hours.

Now that I think about it

Now that I think about it "We can't think of any reason to come here either" is funnier and makes more sense as a state tourism slogan for like Kansas or Nebraska - since there are beaches and the Casinos.

I got the idea from this:

Dammit we have a shitty enough accent without everyone else butchering it, lol.  It's not 'hatazzz' it's 'I'm going to kick your fucking ass'.

Pthhhp.  Doesn't everyone pay 8K a year for taxes?

Outside of that we will be in Somerset and S. Plainfied for a month...or so. However right now I am enjoying the weather out here in San Diego....which is NICE, sunny, warm....women in bikinis and they look great Laughing out loud
