I think it's funny when Christians pretend to know bunk about science. Check this out...

It's sad that their

It's sad that their strongest point through the whole thing is that we should deny our overwhelming natural urges rather than mitigate their consequences.

"Faith, Faith is an island in the setting sun,
but proof, proof is the bottom line for everyone."
Proof, Paul Simon

Nothing this hard should taste so beefy.

You really got to scratch your head, when ever you hear this kind of Bull ,from a grown women who is in charge of teaching our young. With all of the Science that is out there, there should be a ban on teaching LIES to our children.Like Hendrix said in his song"Straight Ahead":You got to tell the children the truth ,they don't need a whole lot of LIES-cause one of these days,BABY, they'll be running things,so when you give them love(Knowledge)you better give it Wise.Woman,Child.Man and Wife the best kind of LOVE is the LOVE of LIFE-pass it on.

The guest is allowed make

The guest is allowed make unsubstantiated claims regarding the "dangers" and side effects of taking the pill and is not even challenged to explain the medical source for her figures. This then sets a premise for the rest of the discussion. A typical tactic with these kinds of radio shows - establish a premise, however untenable it might be, and then move quickly on to "discussion" based on that premise. The point, in other words, is to establish a platform which will amplify the subsequent propaganda even if that platform would have collapsed right at the beginning had it been queried. It is managed, prejudicial, biased and ultimately dishonest broadcasting.

But then, what's new with these people?

Of course the real objection these people have is that the pill, like many other things they object to, presents women with choice and increased control over their lives. To the religious mind that's dangerous, as they feel it's their job to control others' lives. The last speaker's point - that "abstinence" is a comparable method of controlling fertility even if it means that you have to change your whole lifestyle and make it conform to the religious mindset's narrow values - merely proves just how dishonest these people are.

I would rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy
