How do I make stickcam stop sucking hairy donkey balls?
Offline I'm trying to get a free stickcam account so I can get in on some of the live chats, but the site runs like an absolute shitpile for me. I managed to finally create an account after having to resubmit my information 16 times due to page errors, and now it's telling me that my password isn't correct, but I can't get stickcam to mail me what they think my password is because every time I try to submit a request, the captcha image doesn't load, so I can't verify the request, or there is a page error, or the page just loads perpetually and never does anything.
Queston: Why does stickcam suck so much ass? And how do I make it stop doing that?
Any computer savvy kids got a tip?

Stickam does suck. Half the time a show is on, I can't be bothered with the nonsense to watch. I type my email address and password and press the login button, wait for a few minutes, and nothing changes except that the textboxes I typed into are emptied so I have to start all over. It's rather irritating.

its being a complete cunt or me as well. I tried to sign up while rook was blasting the living shit out of zeitgeist but it kept on fucking out and saying I had the wrong 4 character code at the bottom when it was right. I'm trying again and its still being a fuck. it also keeps popping up with a message simply saying 'bad gateway' when I try fill out the email/password fields. for fucks sake, someone needs to give the stickam admins a slap upside the head.

Right. I'm rapidly approaching the point where I no longer give a shit. It would be cool to chat with some of the RRS in real time, and GG has been telling me to hop onto the live chats for like a month, but if this is reflective of how stickam is going to behave all the time, then fuck that.

Are you sitting behind any kind of firewall or network? When I first signed up to stickam I had similar issues, their "help" site just said "make sure you have a direct connection to the internets". Yeah right, fuck off. No way in hell am I doing that. After watching logs and doing other things with my firewall/router I found a few settings I had to adjust.
1. Turn off the Intrusion Detection Filter (I had problems caused by this at YouTube as well, something about flash sites and the way they send data sets off IDS's. As much as I'd like to leave it running, to get to certain websites I regularly visit I've had to disable it).
2. Open port 1935 outbound. Most home firewalls are set up to block anything and everything inbound, but allow anything and everything outbound. I decided to make things more restrictive and block everything both ways then just open up ports outbound as I need them. This is something most people wouldn't have to deal with.
Anyway, check these things out. Might help, might be of no use. *shrug*
