Fucking spam

Spam is so annoying. I got an e mail from a site I must have signed up for at onje time (netlog) - they knew my address and had me as MattShizzle. They said it has been 469 months since I signed in(!!!!!) This works out to over 39 years ago - I only turned 34 on Jan 8 this year - so barring me sometime in the future travelling in time that's obviously not possible - but that is also well before the internet even existed (works out to early June 1969)

The *nix systems epoch date

The *nix systems epoch date (the start date for the time function) is at the beginning of 1970. If their system is such a system then I estimate that you probably signed up at around xmas time as it seems their software is putting in a negative value.
