Ghosts and the paranormal
I am on another messageboard and some people were talking about ghosts. They were claiming that the paranormal is real.
How can I best explain to them that it ISN'T real? I cant find anything online.

Ghosts and the paranormal
I am on another messageboard and some people were talking about ghosts. They were claiming that the paranormal is real. How can I best explain to them that it ISN'T real? I cant find anything online.

The fact that consciousness is not possible without a functioning brain, and that there is no valid evidence for ghosts/the paranormal. Problem is the deluded are immune to facts and evidence.

Extraordinary claims require ( and demand) extraordinary evidence.
If they claim the paranormal is real, ask them to provide evidence for it.
Usually..... this causes quite a bit of squirming.
Stand ready to be of witness to it.
The only ghost I've ever witnessed is the Holy Ghost.

probably that warm fuzzy feeling he gets when he says 'Holy Ghost' Of course that could also be explained by drinking hot chocolate or a nicely chilled martini.
