Osteens wife sued over loss of faith!
A small stain on a seat.
That is what caused an outburst from a mega-church pastors wife. Victoria Olsteen apparently elbowed her way up to the cockpit to complain about a stain that wasn't cleaned before a flight she was on took off.
Now if Victoria would have been dressed in a burka, this would have been quite a different story, don't you think? But I guess you are privledged when you are Christian.
I say she should be charged as a terror suspect, who knows what she would have done if she would have made it to the cockpit!

No she should not be treated like a terror suspect. BUT, she is a self cetered dumbass just like all famous people who think they are intitled to disrupt other people's lives and work because of who they think they are. She should be charged with disturbing the peace, and interfering with a flight crew. And if her pathetic outburst caused a delay in the flight everyone who was late to their destination should sue her.
But it does show the absurdity of god belief. Why not just pray to daddy that the stain magically go away?

The stain was on the armrest, apparently.
She was already fined $3000 by the FAA. After delaying a flight for 2.5 hours that is pretty cheap, I'd say.
Still, looks like a pretty frivolous lawsuit really. I'm not sympathetic to the church lady but the complainant is asking for 10% of her net worth and says her hemorrhoids were caused by this incident. Sheesh! And she says needs counseling because of the 'anxiety' the incident caused.
She is a prosperity theology christian. They, more than other christians, claim entitlement to special treatment becaus the "favor of God" is on them. They believe that others should go out of their way to accomodate them becaus they're children of God.

I sort of like the implication in the 10% net worth. As if Osteen should have to pay the flight attendant tithes. A refund of sorts for supposedly making her lose her faith and realizing that God is bullshit.

Yes, 10% is an interesting choice...and (I'm making a huge assumption here) most or all of it may have come from their mega-church congregation.
I can buy into the part about hemorrhoidal pain from being around preachers and their spouses.

Gotta be honest here...out of all these delusional psychopaths...I Hate Joel Osteen the least. The one thing he *doesn't* do, that most of them do is threaten people with eternal damnation...if he didn't throw in the occasion reference to an invisible omnipotent man who doesn't exist...He'd be more like a motivational speaker than and evangelist. In fact, most evenagelists can't stand him because he tends to not be one of these hate filled bigots.
However, his wife obviously needs to be tea bagged by a few death row inmates.

And like I said, everyone on that flight should sue her if they were cost monetary damages from losing a hotel room or losing a business deal as a result.
I don't give one rats ass if it was the Queen of England. When you are invited on a flight from a private airline that allows the public to come onto that same flight, you are not only subject to that airline's rules, but FAA rules.

I myself would be more worried about an airline taking off in a snowstorm or thunderstorm. The delay caused by that would be welcome to me because THAT would be common sense not to endanger my life. A fucking stain on your chair wont mean jack shit if the airline has frozen wings and still tries to take off.

Not that I want airline tickets to cost more, I think they should install video cameras in planes just for stuff like this. It wouldn't have even gotten to court had there been video of the incedent. I'm sure Miss Freak Out Over a Stain would have been quick to settle had she been caught on tape.
