I personally don't get hung up on spelling unless it is so overwhelming that it becomes absurd. If you are doing it for a college high school class, or doing it for a job, like a newspaper, then yes, your spelling should be perfect. BUT, if you are just hanging out shooting the breeze, then what is more important to me is the substance of what is being said.

I will take this opportunity to also say HI, I'm also residing in the UK (London). I come from a religous background, been an atheist for about 3 years now. Having spent so many years in religion I have a lot of knowledge to catch up with, so I am here mostly to learn, but if I can see that I can contribute to a discussion I will certainly do so. Since my exit from religion I have tried to learn about some basic scientific concepts such as evolution, physics, history of religion, even tried some cosmolgy which was pretty mind blowing, but I am now reading a guide to reading Stephen Hawking.
As a former religionist I do have some knowledge about Christianity and Judaism. I speak Hebrew and lived in Israel at one point. Sometimes I feel like I'm facing a dillema. When I first rejected religion (a process that took me some time) I decided to forget all I ever knew about it. However with time, I discovered that knowing about religion is actually useful when talking to theists and debating with them, so I have been trying not to allow my "religious knowledge" to get too rusty.
I am very impressed with this site and the work you guys do. It really seems like quality stuff.
