What do you folks think of Jonathan Swift?

Jonathan Swift wrote a number of satirical novels such as Gulliver's Travels which not only mocked irrational ideas of his time but his works were also a prelude to dystopian authors such as George Orwell. Yet, Swift was a theologian. Would he be the 16th century equivalent of a Stephen J. Gould who held the notion of NOMA? If Swift were alive today, I bet he'd enjoy being a part of RRS.
