Not buying anything from EA as long as they use Securom. I like my computer working. I also like getting movies/TV shows free from Bittorrent. It's one way I have of sticking it to the man.

Spore doesn't run on Linux and its DRM is pointlessly draconian. (and I do mean pointlessly, since the protection was broken within moments of its release and Spore can be illegally had gratis via download.)
On the other hand, "creature creature" is free and DRMless, so... perhaps I'll play with that and post a few odd critters.

I got spore for free, but by legal means. A friend bought one too many copies so he gave me one.

But, yeah. Copy protection blows, and unfortunately EA's protection of choice with Spore is particularly nasty.
