Greetings from Satine!
Good day to you all! My name is Hayley, online handle Satine, and I thought I'd swing by to see what this place is like.
I am 27, live in the UK and am happily settled in a long-term relationship. I love web design, story-writing, gardening and a whole host of other things, and work for a family business.
So, for my internet life? I have helped out on a small Christian help forum for around 3 years now (see www.thenarrowroad.com). I am an atheist, so it took me a while to settle in there, but I've managed to carve a niche there as a helper who offers practical help. About 6 months ago I was drafted in to help moderate an offshoot of TNR (well, okay, 3 offshoots, but long story short here). However, one of the other staff members was/is a compulsive liar claiming to be a rapist and murderer. My concerns over this have gradually increased to something of a Mexican standoff over the entire issue.
I think that's about it for now, so I'll go and have a look around the rest of the forum, and I'll speak to you all later!

It's called "the narrow road". Seriously, there are too many jokes.
Wow ... that's completely insane. I hope that works out for you ... somehow.

I haven't had that one before, but I live in hope
Welcome fellow Brit we have quite a few here.
This is a pretty active forum with some very intelligent people on it ( a few are almost as clever as me!!!).
I'm quite impressed you know christians in the UK, I wish I knew a few in the UK to argue with. Americans have no idea how lucky there are to live in country where 40% of the people think the Earth was created in 6 days, at least you have plenty of people to argue with.
My last job had one open christian (out of 50) who was a Jehovah's witness, everyone else was an atheist, agnostic (or the British version of couldn't caring) or a Muslim who seemed to be in the local bar as much as everyone else was
Welcome.
