So I googled "Scientific term for female"

If you don't enclose the

If you don't enclose the whole search phrase in quotes, you will get results where not all the words are present. The second result just found 'scientific term'.

The third found a page which had both 'scientific' and 'term' used separately.

Nothing surprising there.

If you search for the whole phrase, you mostly get phrases where the final word 'female' is an adjective, such as "scientific term for female dog", or 'genitalia', or 'sex cells'.

?? Sorry I don't see the connection. I was just pointing out that the results you got were more a matter of the basic mechanics of the way you entered your search phrase and the way it matches as many words as it can.

You are probably right - I get caught on this sort of thing because I usually go to threads from the "Recent Posts" page, so unless I make a point of looking at the top of the page before I respond, I don't notice when I'm in the "General Conversation, Introductions, and Humor" section...

Perhaps 'moron' came up because eggs are gender-less until fertilized at which point they become an embryo. I'm betting millions of people fuck up the terminology because they are used to eggs and bacon instead of embryos and bacon.

OR

Perhaps 'moron' came up because 'female' is the scientific term for female.

OR

Perhaps you should turn off 'safe search' and click 'images' to see what you get. lol.

THAT LAST ONE will either prove or disprove your assertion.
