General Motors? You can go burn in corporate Hell

...Fuck 'em.

Has anyone else watched Who Killed the Electric Car? I'm not actually interested in the blame game, here:

GM was offered 2 million dollars for vehicles they had already made and were otherwise basically going to throw away. They turned down the offer.

They threw 2 million dollars into the gutter.

That was just a shitty, shitty, shitty business decision, from nearly any perspective. Frankly, a car company that refuses to sell the cars it makes shouldn't surprise a person when they experience financial trouble.

Why would anyone at all be interested in 'bailing out' a company that just sets fire to it's own profits in a fit of retardation? Let 'em sink.

Most definitely. I did see the movie "Who Killed the Electric Car" a very important movie, just thinking about these idiots crushing this technology. A very good Investigative Reporter Edwin Black wrote deeply about GM in his book "Internal Combustion" and "The Nazi Nexus" and he tells the story about how GM put the Nazi's on wheel's,and how IBM showed them the key-punch card system for diabolical needs.

Signature ? How ?

GM went wrong when they

GM went wrong when they changed from being a company founded and run by people passionate about building cars(Buick, Olds, Fisher). They became a company concerned with providing good salaries, pensions and benefits instead of building great cars. This is true for both the executives and unions. They became concerned with hiring people with adequate skin color and the right kind of sex organs(Affirmative action).

Taxation is the price we pay for failing to build a civilized society. The higher the tax level, the greater the failure. A centrally planned totalitarian state represents a complete defeat for the civilized world, while a totally voluntary society represents its ultimate success. --Mark Skousen

American car companies went wrong when they saw Japanese car manufacturers and laughed.

Right before losing all their business to them.

Theism is why we can't have nice things.

Well, to be fair, I think Ford is still doing okay?

Asian car companies still can't wrestle the, "Good 'ol boys who wish they were on a SWAT team' demograph out of their hands. Sticking out tongue

GM and Big 3 bailout !

Everything you have to say about GM MANAGEMENT is true ! However there are many whole towns/communities and all of the workers that live there that will go down the shitter ! Punish management not workers and communities !!! It is just more bu$hit that wall street/banks/etc. get all the money they want with no strings attached and workers in the the industrial sector have to give up jobs benefits etc. for GM etc. to get TARP money so they can make cars overseas. When our industrial base is completely gone it becomes a security issue and we all will be less safe. The corporate military industrial complex is destroying this country for us citizens with their greed ! We have to move industry back to this country and start making "STUFF" here !! China will own your children's a$$e$ if we(corporations) don't stop shipping all of our jobs overseas and hiring slave labor(illegals) here !!! Where will any of us or our children go to get a job and earn a living if this continues ???
