Cheerio... maybe

 Hi folks,

I've found myself becoming less and less engaged with this site recently - like a few others have I suppose - and I'm not convinced that I'll be contributing much anymore.  I can't really put my finger on why but I've not found the conversation as engaging as it used to be and I feel it's much harder to get involved and/or care.

That being said, I do enjoy the social feel that goes on here so I might still pop my head round the door occasionally to say hi and catch up on what's going on.  Maybe I just need a few weeks away from "repetitive argument syndrome"

:o

Having the same arguments repeated endlessly against you does get boring.

I have ongoing debates off this site with other people at my college, that are really just making me tired. When someone doesn't understand basic logic and can't form a coherant argument I might as well be talking to a wall.

I too have found myself

I too have found myself burned out from time to time, and have taken three or four extended leaves of absence from the site over the last 3 years. The longest break was probably 5 or 6 months. Then some religious idiot pisses me off and I'm right back in the thick of it.

Take it easy in the meantime. Smiling
