I've been banned from every single forum I have ever been on, including this one many times, and it would be a pleasure to be banned from Utah. as long as I can sneak into Zion and Arches. count me in for the door to door obnoxiousness. I can offend like you wouldn't believe.

Just Got Back

I just came back from SLC, and trust me...you don't want to go there during the winter.

At least it is easier to get booze ever since they held the Olympics in 2002.

We can just go in white T-shirts with a small red A on them! I get busy on the tracts and testimonials. I wonder how far we will get before we get arrested? I'll make sure we have enough money to get bailed out since you are willing to help. That old guy swatting them with a broom was so funny.

Deal! Somebody set the over under on how long before we're arrested. We might as well gamble on it, since we're all going to hell anyway. Maybe we can even parlay it with unconversions, like more than an hour and three unconversions must pay out really well. This is going to be wonderful! Praise Charles Darwin!

You don't want me going door to door with you... I have no people skills.

“A meritocratic society is one in which inequalities of wealth and social position solely reflect the unequal distribution of merit or skills amongst human beings, or are based upon factors beyond human control, for example luck or chance. Such a society is socially just because individuals are judged not by their gender, the colour of their skin or their religion, but according to their talents and willingness to work, or on what Martin Luther King called 'the content of their character'. By extension, social equality is unjust because it treats unequal individuals equally.” "Political Ideologies" by Andrew Heywood (2003)

Zion and Arches? You want to go to a McDonald's in Israel?

What the heck sucked you into that heaven hole? Man, talk about being Jewish walking into Palestine.

Sometimes I think I have it bad living in the south. It has to be way worse for any atheist living there. I know you were just visiting. But for the atheists that live there, jebus kristos on a cracker.

once

We drove through Utah - once.  That is enough for me.  Even Arches national monument doesn't have enough appeal to get me back there.  I darn near assaulted a waiter at the local Denny's.

We're on our wedding trip with kids.  My brand new second husband and I get them all settled for the night and walk across the street for some coffee and adult conversation.  We both have money on us, but I happen to have more that day.  So, the young man comes up to us and asks Richard what we want.  Richard looks at me, and I reply with our order.  The young man returns with our order and asks Richard if that will be all.  Richard looks at me - not quite grinning.  I reply that is fine, thank you.  Later the same young man returns with the check, asks Richard if he can get us anything else.  Richard looks at me - really grinning.  I tell the young man, that is all thanks.  The young man tells Richard, thank you.  Through the entire conversation, Richard never talks to the young man and the young man never talks to me.  I was seriously considering homicide - though which one I was going to murder was up for grabs.  25 years later, it might be funny if it had happened to someone else.

Probably better if I stick with pretty pictures of Arches and other Utah scenic areas on line.
