This pissed me off. The National PBS NOVA site had Neil DeGrasse Tyson's documentary slotted for 8pm on March 2nd.

THE LOCAL UNC PBS channel aired a "Live From London" concert instead.

This pissed me off and I called the station to air my concerns. I also e-mailed them and e-mailed Tyson's planetarium.

THE LOCAL UNC PBS channel, on my cable company, DID NOT air the original March 2nd premier of "The Pluto Files". I called them up and they gave me a bullshit "fund drive" excuse for avoiding the 8pm prime time debut.

Then they sent me e-mails of when the repeats would air and THE BEST "Pluto Files" got on this UNC channel was 10pm. The rest are late night or the middle of the day.

I e-mailed Neil's planetarium with the full details of what UNC did.

NOW, I am not saying it was a conspiracy, but the climate pisses me off.

This country cares more about American Idol, and at the same time bitches RIGHTFULLY about lack of education, but wont put planetary science in prime time?
