Red Soil, By Brian37
Red Soil, By Brian37
Defending honor
Defending a deity
Defending the state
From blasphemy
All are the same
In human history
Protecting the ego
Not humanity
Stones and sticks
Childish gangs
Raise their fists
Ending in death
Platitudes
And propaganda
Are the seeds
That cruelty plows
Old age preempted
By false nobility
Dying for a cause
Truncates life
Don't pick on me
All labels say
Then bitch themselves
Hypocritically
Taboos are taboo
When we criticize others
Yet Taboos we employ
To protect ourselves
If you are tired
Of the red soil
If you are tired
Of human toil
If harming others
Offends you
Then leave it at words
And protect all words
Protect all protest
And blasphemy
Let all criticize
And freely speak
6 billion
Wont always agree
But our common goal
Should be old age.
