Comments on facebook and other venues praising god, give me a break!
Offline Ok I was not sure where to put this but I recently got back on facebook and it seems to me every time i read a post i see people thanking god for being healthy, or for healing a sick child or for rescuing miners.
1. What about being pleased with your self for working out, eating right, your parents for giving you good values and eating habits?
2. How about thanking the medical doctors who did the surgery or gave you the medication, or herbalist who helped you?
3. How about thanking the many people who worked on rescuing the miners and the technology that was used?
4. How come no one blamed god for killing the 20 china miners the week after?
Sorry just a rant. I was going to put it on facebook as well but will more then likely alienate most of anyone i know there
I just saw way to many of these notices this week and it got to me.

I'm sure they just praise God for the willpower.
They praise God for their education, and their ability to help.
They were only able to help because God gave them the strength.
Everyone knows God hates the Chinese.
Everything makes more sense now that I've stopped believing.
The most annoying types, to me at least. Is 'gods miricle' when a handfull of survivers walk away from a plane crash. Where was their god when the other 200+ persons on the plane were schredded and fried? I already know the answer, 'its all part of gods plan' , proof their god is one melicious bloodthirsty piece of shit.

Comically enough, God and Jesus have several facebook pages of their own. One of Jesus's pages have over a million fans. People actually leave all sorts of praise on Jesus's wall for everything from getting a light bill paid to waking up in the morning. Apparently, they DO have an internet connection in Heaven and Jesus checks his updates regularly. God has gone modern on us. Instead of sending plagues and storms, he's probably the one that is responsible for all of that SPAM that hit my email account not too long ago. God could be punishing my yahoo account for my sins.
