Bruce Lee and Marilyn Manson's Religions?
Offline Basic question: What were these guys?
Bruce Lee
As many of us know he was featured in the "atheists aren't bad people" video, and has said in an interview he "did not believe in god whatsoever." However to my understanding he was a buddhist and or taoist. According to many directors and actors who worked along side him they claimed thats what he was. Then again, I guess buddhism and Taoism don't really have a god, but still he had a religion.
Marilyn Manson:
I've seen sides that claim he's a Satanist, others say he's an atheist. What is it?

It basically had videos, that you can possibly still find, that had Manson blaming religion for it's problems.
But wait a minute, isn't he a Satanist?
According to his book "The Long Hard Road Out of Hell" he was given the title of Reverend Manson by Church of Satan founder Anton Lavey.
Now I know his parents were once Christians and he rejected that faith, but what is he now? Was he a Satanist turned atheist? Or was he always a Satanist?

There is a website "Celebrity Atheists" that lists these people.
Bruce Lee as far as that list is concerned confirms him as an atheist.
Marilyn Manson, not sure myself what he is. But as far as I am concerned anyone who dabbles in any sort of woo I wish would not call themselves an atheist.
I think Marylin is an act, like Alice Cooper and Ozzy are acts.
I see no point in basing morality on ancient super heros or super villains written in fiction so whatever Manson says he is there is no need to attach it to Satanism anymore than rubbing the fat belly of Buddha will bring you luck.

In his interview on faux he claimed he was an atheist and the church of satan thing is basicly a joke.
Faith is the word but next to that snugged up closely "lie's" the want.
