Is anyone else
Receiving malware from here. I don't know if it's originating from here or not. Yesterday was the 3rd time after logging on it showed up. Nope--I haven't been on any porn sites.

My PS3 is immune. I wouldn't know if there was an attempt against my system no matter what kind of source, it would simply fail.
I highly doubt that the site itself would be any threat, but the adds could be a different story. Try using an add blocker or turn off java. Or both.

that shows up that I can't get rid of-so it's coming from an ad I'm sure. I have to shut down, start up, and restore to get rid of it. The whole page that shows up is a link so I can't even X out by closeing the page. I loose my firefox browser and have to reinstall. Thanks for the info.

For all the PS3 browsers faults, and there are many, I don't think I could ever go back to using a PC now. PS3 came out in '07, but it performs better than a brand new top of the line computer for random browsing simply because no malware can touch it. You don't even need to look at porn or file sharing sites to pick up all kinds of nasty spyware and virii these days. Even legitimate sites will fuck up your shit.

Only this time I learned to handle it better. It's a trojan dropin of some kind. The thing is---don't click on it to get rid of it. Shut down and do a malware scan and ploop--there it is---just a delete is all that's needed. I'm learning. In 100 years I might be a computor expert.

Nah in 100 years noone will be a computer expert. Advances will come so fast and from so many directions the only way to keep up will be freezing time. Even cybernetics won't help, because the information storage capacity won't be sufficient to hold all the necessary data.
