Poverty is a condition imposed by governments through the tax system.
The world will have to pay dearly, not only now, but in the near future, for the hardships cause by this pandemic and the various other upcoming health crisis.
We are already handing our children a dying planet. Will we saddle them with more poverty as well?
Poverty is created by the tax system. Gandhi also said that to impose poverty was a crime.
The tax system is controlled by the rich. Demographically speaking, this fact is proven by their outrageous demographic position and control of the legislation.
Will the rich swallow the huge debt that will soon hit us, or will they place the debt as more poverty for our next extinction bound generation?
The next tax laws, everywhere, will show if more poor die, or if the rich will give up their loose change, which is all that it takes, to end poverty.

The pandemic has clearly demonstrated that the problem is governments and society rewarding or not punishing irresponsible, harmful behaviors while punishing responsible behaviors with high taxes. The inevitable outcome of this perverse system is one major catastrophe after another. If we get throught this pandemic, the next Malthusian catastrophe is likely to be mass famine.
The causes of poverty are lack of access to natural resouces(we live on a small rock), lack of productive job skills and excessive power by wealthy elites(e.g. big pharma, big oil, big tech, ...). The tax system is just our modern system of enslavement. The rich can avoid taxes on their wealth, that is the advantage of wealth.
The elites and the unwashed masses will of course try to dump all this onto the backs of workers, to make them total slaves. The worker's backs with either break or they will fight back and demand all this debt be cancelled. People that bought government debt are no different than those that purchase Confederate war bonds. The need to loose out for supporting a system of enslavement(taxation).
The world will probably need to go through a lot more crisis before people begin to realize that the only solution is mandatory birth control in every country, We can now madate masks and vaccines for the common good, when will we mandate Norplant and vascetomies?
Taxation is the price we pay for failing to build a civilized society. The higher the tax level, the greater the failure. A centrally planned totalitarian state represents a complete defeat for the civilized world, while a totally voluntary society represents its ultimate success. --Mark Skousen
