I believe Emma Peel was a widow.  However, on the series finale when she left ****'s apartment (I left the name out in hopes that AiiA will answer), she went downstairs and got into a convertible driven by a good looking gentleman.

I also remember watching the Huntly/Brinkley reports on the Vietnam War. (Excuse me, "police action&quot.  I had a transistor radio, but it only took 2 batteries.  We had lots of sock hops on Saturday nights with the DJs from a Kansas City Top 40 radio station.  My first car was a '65 Malibu (no foiks, it wasn't a sports car at all), but I didn't get it until  1972.

David McCallum in The Man From U.N.C.L.E.  (U.N.C.L.E. = United Network Command for Law and Enforcement).  David McCallum is currently in a TV series "NCIS".  There was a great line one week when one of the young gals opined, "I wonder what Ducky looked like when he was younger."  The answer was "Illya Kuryakin".  I howled, but also wondered how many people wouldn't get the joke.
