The speaker in the video says that if she could wave a magic wand and end religion that she wouldn't do it. She cites that religion provides people comfort and has done good things as her reasons.
Because it's a video and not a lesson plan prone to biased interpretation by a teacher I can't say I necessarily have a problem with the idea. But I can't watch the video so I can't say whether I'd approve or not.
