Do you guys know any good documentaries?

Do you guys know any good documentaries? Political? Religion? it doesn't matter I am just trying to compile a listing and ranking of some documentaries. I guess some examples of what I am looking for are documentaries like (Jesus camp, The God who wasn't there, The fog of war, Zeitgeist, Control room, Sicko) They can either be mainstream release or underground. It doesn't matter. Thanks.

For religion type things I

For religion type things I suggest "Root of All Evil?" and "Doomsday Code." You could also check out the video section of this site to see if there is anything else you find intereting.

"America: From Freedom to Fascism", "Oil Factor, The; Behind the War on Terror", "Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch's War On Journalism", and "TerrorStorm: A History Of Government-Sponsored Terrorism (2006)" were interesting

"The Universe", "Planet Earth", "Walking With Cavemen",
and "PBS: Evolution" were cool

You could also look into things by the BBC, a lot of cool things from them.

I recommend highly Netflix.

I recommend highly Netflix. They have every documentary you could ever think of. (I don't work for them, just a happy customer.)

Some documentaries I liked:

Power of Nightmares is a good one about politics and Islamic extremists, and you can find it free online.

Super Size Me was good, but I was hating on fast food way before it was cool.

The Rolling Stones: Gimme Shelter is an interesting look of the death of the "Flower Power" movement at a Rolling Stones concert at the Altamont Speedway.

American Movie is a documentary about an independent film maker. But this filmmaker is poor (i.e. his job is doing a paper route), has a few kids, and his friend is a burnt out guitar player (among other things).

I am a documentary fan

I am a documentary fan also. My favorite source of well produced documentaries is HBO, showtime,Cinemax, and The movie channel ON DEMAND service. You log in, and look for documentaries. The usually are running about ten between the premium service channels that you can access at any time, and they rotate them pretty frequently.
