Should everyone know the truth?

Should everyone know that god (and hell or whatever punishment) don't exist? ie., who should be allowed to know the truth and why?

Who would have the right to

Who would have the right to decide who that?  What kind of person?

The truth should be available for all that wish to find it.

"Should" is a contingent word. When we use it, we mean something like this:

"X" is a desirable goal. For "X" to happen, "Y" must be done. Therefore, "Y" should be done to attain the desirable goal.

So, in order to answer your question, you need to tell us what you mean by "should."

Should everyone know that god doesn't exist? I dunno. What is your goal?

When you're done answering that question, what the fuck do you mean by, "Who should be allowed to know the truth"? What system of belief leads you to the conclusion that someone is "allowing" others to know this truth?

In other words, I refuse to answer such a poorly written question until you clarify what it is you're really asking.

No, because you are as

No, because you are as uncertain of the truth as anyone else - this is no different from Christians trying to "save" people.

I hope that when the world comes to an end I can breathe a sigh of relief, because there will be so much to look forward to.

Yes. Everybody should have access to information that there's no trustworthy evidence that God, Jesus, Satan, angels, demons, heaven, or hell exist.

Why should they be allowed access to this information? Because to keep them from this information is to deliberately mislead them which is the same as lying to them. And lying to people usually always produces bad results.

Maybe this is just a hit

Maybe this is just a hit and run post, folks, but take my warning seriously:  Answering questions before you know what is being asked is not wise.

The more ambiguous the question, the more likely someone has an agenda.

From the wording of the question, there are several directions the OP could go to build strawmen.  Faith in logic/truth/science; Evils of Atheist Governments; free will; morality... the list is nearly endless.

Better to let someone hang themselves, I say.  Until the question is asked clearly, I'd just as soon let it go.   Saves lots of time once the strawman is revealed.

If the truth is that you

If the truth is that you don't need religion, then I'm for everyone knowing that.

It certainly is an odd question. It sounds like a totalitarian trying to figure out what his peasants are allowed to think.
