That we use the year and AD in the calendar proves we are a Christian nation
Believe it or not, I actually heard this. It is too ridiculous to really address, but I would point out this would also prove we are a pagan nation because of our use of the days of the week and months of the year.

I also heard something like the way they used to use the english version, "Year of our LORD" to write years back when the Constitution was written, therefore we're a Christian nation. Like, "1776 Year of our LORD".
that's why you tell them this:
"You use that days of the week, Monday, Tuesday... etc. right?
Well you know the names of the days come from the roman pantheon, you follow it, therefore you believe in the roman pantheon."
Actually, the days are a combination of Roman Nordic and Pagan
Sunday: The Sun (general pagan)
Monday: The Moon (general pagan)
Tuesday: (forget exactly, but Nordic.)
Wednesday: Wodin's day (Nordic)
Thursday: Thor's day (Nordic)
Friday: Frigg's day (nordic)
Saturday: Saturn's day (Roman)
The Months are Roman - combination names of Roman Gods, emperors, and numbers.

Heh, that makes things much more interesting.
We don't really use AD anymore. It's CE or Common Era. But it's still based on AD. PC bullshit.
I use AM - after ME. This is the 29th year of ME.
