The problem with your site is that only imbeciles with no perception of an afterlife actually believe anything you've posted.

The problem with your site is that it will still be here after the rapture leaving you with nothing to complain about.

Af far as denying the existence of the Holy Spirit...You cannot deny what you have not felt in your heart. If you have felt Jesus in your heart, even after denying him, your salvation is still an unalterable reality and guaranteed.

Your effort is retorically useless, since anyone who is denying Him was already headed straight to Hell even before doing so.

Go ahead, go to Hell you reprobates belong there.

Sincerely,

Albert Bolivar

LOL... The rapture, huh? An actual factual rapture believer in the flesh? ROTF

He seems to contradict himself by saying that we cannot blaspheme the holy spirit, and we are still saved, or that we were going to hell anyway before that. It seems you're either saved or not.

And it's always nice to hear from someone who doesn't know us that we deserve to go to hell, eh? I bet he'd like me in person. Heh.

The problem with your site

The problem with your site is that only imbeciles with no perception of an afterlife actually believe anything you've posted.

I'd like to know what exactly your perception of an afterlife/heaven is.

The problem with your site is that it will still be here after the rapture leaving you with nothing to complain about.

You mean after a nuclear war there will be no one left to complain.  Rapture is as much a myth as going to Hades.

Af far as denying the existence of the Holy Spirit...You cannot deny what you have not felt in your heart.

Many here were Christians so yes, we can deny the Holy Spirit.

If you have felt Jesus in your heart, even after denying him, your salvation is still an unalterable reality and guaranteed.

You need to re-read that Mark scripture.

Your effort is retorically useless, since anyone who is denying Him was already headed straight to Hell even before doing so.

We aren't going to a fictional place.

Albert apparently doesn't

Albert apparently doesn't like the RRS website.

He had nothing to add to a discussion or thread, so it can only be assumed he cannot argue his position.

I continue to shake my head in wonder why folks send messages for the sole purpose of saying hateful things. However, it was amusing when he said "Go ahead, go to Hell you reprobates belong there" and then signs off with "Sincerely".

Of course, I am obligated to point out Albert's lack of understanding about punctuation. Also, the word is spelled "RHETORICALLY", not "retorically".

It took me a moment to figure out that he was calling the readers  "reprobates".  Without a period or comma, I thought he was saying "Go to Hell you. Reprobates belong there."

But for people like him, you just respond, "The problem with you is that (Insert another version of hell) "

You mean, the problem with this site is that it's full of people who are too rational to believe in an afterlife. There, fixed it for you.

So, the Apocolypse will be powerful enough to end time and earthly existance, but it won't be able to knock a web server offline? I guess god didn't account for server redundancy policies.

I guess you'll never be able to deny the existance of Thor then. Well, have fun in valhalla.

I was born with a slight murmur in my heart. Was that jesus?

So, you can't deny the holy spirit if you don't believe in him, but if you do deny him (while still not believing in him) you're going to hell? That is very clear.

You see, going by the grammatical errors and spelling mistakes, I'm going to take a wild guess and say you didn't proof read this message. If you had, you would probably realize that this concept does not make any sense. Seriously, pick a stance; you can't deny jesus and he will save you or you can deny jesus and you're going to hell. It doesn't matter which one you pick because it's not like either one of them are true anyways.

Hey, just because you live in constant fear doesn't mean we have to. Trying growing a backbone. Look under the bed and in the closet; there's no devil waiting for you there. Now, grow the fuck up.

You Christians crack me up.  You can't decide among yourselves what the true teaching is because the bible is contradictory beyond measure.   Here's a little something a wrote a few years ago.  Enjoy.

Iruka wrote:

101 Denominations.

The first stone pulled out of the wall of my faith was exposure to relatively liberal Mennonite Brethren professors who were pacifists. As a rabid Republican right-wing fundy, I had little use for their doctrine and showed them a hundred places in scripture that were completely against pacifism. I couldn't understand how, in the light of this "proof," they could continue to be pacifists.

In one of my courses, I finally learned how the supposedly divinely-inspired bible was put together by a group of priests who (if I remember correctly) couldn't even decide amongst themselves which books to canonize. What a mess! After learning this and other facts that put the supposed inerrancy of the bible on the chopping block, my faith was on rocky ground and I was having dreams about ending up in hell. I wrote a nasty note to "Devon," one of my professors, quoting a bible verse (paraphrased): "As for those who hurt my little ones, it would be better for them if a millstone were wrapped around their neck and they were thrown into the sea." Or something like that...I don't memorize drivel anymore.

Can you see the typical fundy defensiveness? For the first time in my life, I was experiencing cognitive dissonance and it hurt!

Cognitive dissonance is the spring-board for the formation of new denominations. The bible is NOT inerrant...or particularly moral, for that matter. I doubt there are any denominations that take every word of the bible at face value. It would be too hard to live under such a stringent set of rules. Actually, it would be impossible since the bible contradicts itself so often. So, different denominations "interpret" the bible differently, only adopting those parts that fit into their particular sense of morality. Churches at the fundy end adopt the most stringent set of rules. Churches at the liberal end can interpret the bible loosely, as one big metaphor, and draw any conclusion they want.

The funny thing is, I think the fundies are right. If the damn book is divinely-inspired, then every single word is inerrant. You can't pick and choose. You can't decide that some of it is metaphor (unless the bible specifically says it is metaphor), otherwise you end up with human interpretations that are all over the map and you get 101 Denominations, all warring with each other about what the bible really means.

The most logical thing to do is chuck the whole thing. The bible is an immoral, unbelievable hodgepodge of contradictions that means nothing.

The liberal pacifists were right about one thing: violence is wrong. Isn't it odd that their holiest of books does not agree with them? As I've moved farther and farther away from the bible, I find that I am becoming more and more of a pacifist and the right-wing warmongering I spouted in college makes me cringe.

I'm sorry, Devon. You were right about the bible. You just don't know how right.

Lets take this theists position for argument's sake. Mind you, not all Christians buy this bullshit. But this one does. Here is my theoretical response if such a being were real.

Good, so do you promise to stop bitching after the "rapture" when dear old dad takes over? Ok, so if there is no need to bitch after the rapture when all the other billions of non-Christians suffer, then why are you bitching now when you already claim to know the end of the story? If you know what is comming, then where is the beef?

Tell your dad I dont bow to narsisistic bullies who cant handle someone not kissing their ass. What a pathetic god you have to be so self centered.

If the world doesnt revolve around atheists, what makes you think my world revolves around Jesus? Just because you say so? You wouldnt bow to Allah simply because some Muslim threatened ou. And I dont bow to you either.

I love Hell threats! You

I love Hell threats! You can just see 'em sputtering in indignation, completely at a loss for anything intelligent to say.

Yea I fear them as much as I do Muslims threating me with Allah. I dont fear fiction, but do have a reason to fear the idiots who buy this fiction as fact. Is their deity so inept as to need a mere mortal to do their bidding for them?

They remind me of Fred Phelps. "You just wait and see, my daddy is going to beat you up". Why? Cause I wont kiss his ass?

Waiting........waiting........waiting.......nope....still here.

Hey daddy(fiction) I'm waiting. Stop being pathetic loser and do it yourself without your minions who kiss your ass. Nope....still nothing.

Man, I'm glad I'm not holding my breath.

OH WAIT, FEELING CHEST PAIN! Never mind, that was just some chili I ate.

Oh Crap! That is probably the straw.....

Okay. First, I was told I was going to hell for autoeroticism. Then, I was going to hell for lusting after women. Then, I was going to hell for foresaking transubstantiation. Then, I was going to hell for giving up my vow of chastity and poverty. Then, I was going to hell for encouraging another priest and nun to leave the Church.

Now, I am going to hell for being on this website. I am pretty sure I can be forgiven all the shit above, but there is no way Super Mario in the Sky is going to let me get away with reading this stuff.  *SIGH*

Two things, jackball:

1) Know yer bible much?

I Peter 3:15

"15But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear"

Your comment is a disgrace to you flock, and it makes the baby Jesus cry...

2) Nice link from a theist against the existence of Hell:

The rapture? How long have you been waiting for this now, 2000 years? I often wonder if another 2000 years will be long enough for people to realize the rapture is a hoax. Will people in the year 4007 still be speaking like this? What about 10,000 years? Or a million? Will there still be holdouts in the year 1,002,007 anxiously awaiting Jesus's return? I certainly hope all this nonsense is gone by then.

Lemme ask ya something,

Lemme ask ya something, mate.

Where is hell?

And don't tell me what it is, what it's for, or anything like that. Give me an actual location, if you can.

I'm betting it's somewhere near Cleveland.

First of all, spell-check is your friend. It's not "retorically," it is "rhetorically." I think, perhaps, that one should not use certain terms unless one can spell them & use them correctly. Yeesh.

Anyway, I love how Xtians claim to want to save our souls & if we refuse to believe in their religion, they bash us & tell us to go to hell. WTF?? How is that a "loving" religion?

If this is what your religion has to offer, then no thanks.  Jesus is love, but Xtians are assholes.
