Graduated College... now what?
Now, this post really has nothing to do with theism, atheism, or really much more than this personal crossroads I've reached. I'm really looking for some intellegent advice on finding a entry level position in my field.
I just gradutated with a 3.1 GPA from Indiana State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. My current residence is in Kokomo, Indiana. I've spent this past week after graduation not doing much, just recharging my batteries and this week starts the dreaded job search. Here-in lies my problem. I'm feeling sort of anxious about the job search, I've spent my last 6 years working retail and going to school (which is evident by my GPA) and I've always felt that I was more than prepared for finding work, and now I'm not feeling so sure.
I have some questions:
What're some good do's and don'ts for interviews? Suit? Dress Pants and button-up shirt?
Where's the best place to do you job search? Online postings? Newspaper classifieds? Or is there a better way of finding a good job?
When making a resume, is it too cliche' to just make a nice layout and print it out on resume paper? Or should I consider doing something radically different at the risk of losing a chance at a position?
Is anyone here a Graphic Designer that can offer me any additional advice as good things that employers would want to hear?
I've also had this fear of complete rejection, which stems from the fact that I don't think any of my work is really *that* good, and is all average design. I feel that while working my entire time in college, it hurt my portfolio in the process by restricting my time.

Is it normal for me too feel extremely nervous about the rest of my life here, or am I acting irrational and need to just chill out?
Thanks for the listen. I just noticed this blog feature. I think I'll try to use it once a week or so to vent my frustrations.

Something else I thought
Something else I thought about today:
Should I consider deleting my facebook profile, or other accounts that I have myself labeled as an atheist? I hear companies are searching the internet for their potential employees, and I can't imagine the word "atheist" is a positive one in the United States, especially in my home state of Indiana.

I think it's completely
I think it's completely nervous to be anxious about job searching and whatever. Life changes are always a stressful, nerve wracking, horrible time but they are also exciting times.
Go to the job interview naked. That will insure that they never forget you.
Good luck with the job search, however. I really wouldn't worry about you being psychologically messed up in the head or something because you are nervous. I would think if you weren't nervous about this transition you'd be rather messed up.
I'm not much help.

I don't know that would do any good due to the cache facilities in Google. If you delete them and a potential employer finds something in a cache, it will look like you're trying to hide something.
Always dress nicely (for guys that would be a shirt, tie and jacket) and always keep your shoes polished.
Always know about the company for which you are interviewing.
Always have a couple of questions about the company or specific work things ready because they will always ask if you have any questions.
It's bad form to ask about salary or benefits on the first or second interview. (I think that one is silly because if you don't know the salary range, go through several interviews and then find they're offering $20,000 less than you'll take, it was all a waste of everyone's time.) However, it's a "rule".
I would suggest you take a portfolio of your work to show them as examples.
Be sure to turn your cell phone OFF during an interview. I know someone who lost a great job because his cell phone rang during the interview and he proceeded to chat with his children (it was not an emergency) while the interviewer just sat there.
There are lots of websites regarding a job hunt that you might want to Google.
