Um, as long as you posting

Um, as long as you posting pictures of birds isn't followed by smiling shop vacs, I wont get concerned. But what is the point of these bird threads?

'Coz some people seemed to like them?

Including Sapient...

They're all my own work - just showin' I can do other things than bamboozle people with science.

You want me to start posting pics of kangaroos and koalas? Not that I've got much on koalas. Anyway, birds are prettier.

This part of the site is the place for posting images and comments on them, so I thought I see how it worked out. Got some nice comments on all the others so far.

I only started as a test, when NoMoreCrazyPeople asked how to get an image from his own computer up into a post.

Then I got a whole bunch of nice comments, so I figured I'd see what people thought of some other similar pics...

Dare I ask, what is the "point" of watching the Redskins? Sorry, couldn't resist....

I always knew you were for

I always knew you were for the birds. Hitchcock would be jacking off right now.

Your country was started as a prison colony. You ripped off our Constitution. You have the nerve to rightfully point out that not only you have a female PM, but an atheist PM as well.  You have to rub our noses in it that you don't have your heads up your ass like we do, or at least not as far.

Your are nothing but a so and so and buddely boo. Don't ask me what that is. But you are one none the less.

I've got two birds for you in stereo. AND JUST FOR THAT YOU WILL BE WATCHING THE GAME WITH ME THIS WEEKEND.

(Note to self; Did I think this, or type it?)

Actually, I would prefer if

Actually, I would prefer if these were all on one 'thread', but I don't see how to do that in this 'image" area. I can't see how to add a new image to an existing 'image' thread.

Every uploaded image appears as a new thread. I could go back to linking to the web-space I have on my ISP's server, I guess.

AH HA, see you don't know everything, so therefore the NFL gods will magically make the Redskins not suck. That and Angelina Jolie will give me a hummer. That's what you get for acting like a know it all........buddely boo.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to learn not to hit "submit" before I think about what I post. Nothing to see here, keep moving.

'Nother nice one, Bob. I think if you wanted them in a single thread, you would just start a thread to collect them in, and people could comment on that thread instead of the individual image threads.

Yeah, I was wondering if there was some way to post them onto the server, some other location to save them to, without it showing up as a new thread, as it seems to do  when I use the 'Image' space.

Otherwise I can simply go back to linking to them on my ISP's server.

 Aha! Solved!

Aha! I still upload it to 'Image', but uncheck "Publish", so I can link to it from another thread,

without it also showing up on the forum as a thread by itself.

First search suggests they might be "Yellow-throated Miners".
