i would just like to point
i would just like to point out that "art," similar to "shalt," "mayest," etc., is the second person familiar form of "are," which is no longer used in conventional english, and should almost invariably be paired with the nominative form "thou." it is not, nor has it ever been, proper to use it in the third person (especially not singular, for christ's sake!), as this poem (i think that's what it is?) does.
