Anyway,

A big part of the stock in trade of any whacko cult is that people who don't see things their way must be stupid and/or have bad intentions. So one warning sign of a group being a whacko cult is when its members believe or pretend there's no valid or even honest reasons to doubt it's dogmas. That's why when anyone makes a post to a whacko cult's site about problems with the dogmas, the cult members just ignore it or blow it off with superficial 3 second sound bites. As far as they're concerned, those problems can't possibly really exist. And any member who might happen to know better keeps their mouth shut.

I sure don't have to give anyone at RRS any examples of the Buybullical Cretinists doing this. Y'all can see read about the same behavior from RRS in the Post 292 I mentioned. http://www.rationalresponders.com/forum/13976?page=9#comment-171369 . Be sure to look for any replies to it in that thread. I didn't find any, or to later ones by the same guy later on in the thread. Except for one near the end from an RRS member who replied when he was drunk over problems at work. I don't know why the author said what he did about replies at the start of post 325 in the thread (http://www.rationalresponders.com/forum/13976?page=6#comment-172288).

So where do we stand now? A year and a half down the road from when RRS made the posts that 292 describes (http://www.rationalresponders.com/forum/13976?page=9#comment-171369) tells about, your link http://www.rationalresponders.com/fallacies_commonly_employed_against_materialism_refuted is still dead, and y'all are still making trite little posts like Magus´s posts like (http://www.rationalresponders.com/forum/17428#comment-239886, number 2 in the thread), and  letting it slide when other RRS members make them.

When I tell people that RRS and the fundies are the sort of people we don't want to end up being, despite any of our philosophical differences, this sort of thing is one of my prime examples. Especially since y'all don't seem to want to even admit the existence of serious books that go into the problems with materialism. For example, the ones talked about in http://www.rationalresponders.com/forum/13976?page=13#comment-173719 (POST 392) and http://www.rationalresponders.com/forum/13976?page=9#comment-171369. (POST 292).
