some clarification

I have argued against gay rights in my past blogs but I would swear on a stack of dictionaries that I don't hate gay people. I also don't consider anyone "guilty" for loving whoever they love.

What is Bush's problem??

In the first RR show, there is discussion about whether George Bush is stupid, misguided, or plain evil.

I just wanted to say that I think he is an idiot. That is the only thing that would explain his (non) reaction to the 911 news and the fact that he takes advice from someone who claims to be spiritually connected to a higher power.

I wager you have never tried eating scabs and boogers on the job.

Morality

I think leaders like Moses, Buddha, and Ghandi have guided mankind to have morality superior to that of dogs.

I don't think all the progress should be trashed because a few people think they are the supreme beings of the universe.

my opinion on gay pride

I have heard athiests protest the lack of gay rights in an accusatory way against xtians and christianity.

I don't believe that people choose what turns them on and what doesn't. I suppose everyone is different in that regard.

I also don't think it is my right to an opinion on what mature adults do concentually with other mature adults.

All that being said, what makes being a homosexual better than or more important than being a booger eater, or someone who eats their scabs?

Seriously.

New study: God debunks reality!

Not really. I just wanted to see if my signature shows up.

I'm starting silver membership tomorrow.

Physics

I have been listening to some of the debates where people cite laws of physics or thermodynamics as evidence that there is a being who doesn't go by those laws.

What I hear (not what they say) is "there is so much I can't comprehend or explain that I must believe in a god to keep my sanity".

As soon as they come to a point where they don't have an answer, they claim it is evidence of God. I think it's evidence that humans aren't all knowing.

My compliments to anyone who considers the state of the universe. That is some feat for people who's common ancestor was something between a lemur and a monkey.

Activism

I played the mp3 "Theism is Irrational" to a Jehovah's Witness today. She wouldn't listen to the whole thing. She said that her lack of faith was making her not want to get out of bed already and she was too tired to talk about rationality. ( :
