Kimbo Slice, the vicious bare-fisted back yard brawler of youtube fame, got his ass kicked in 19 seconds by Seth Petrazelli. Fight was put on by Elite XC and broadcast nationally by CBS 10-4-08.

I changed channels back to news in the sports department after Gina 'Conviction' Carano won.

Really? Does anyone really give a shit that Vanderbilt is still undefeated?

If it weren't for the commercials, I'd never know that Slice was going to fight. However, I'm signed up for updates on Gina. You may know her better as 'Crush' on American Gladiators.

Ironic name since that is my description of her... my Crush.

Here we go... I'll probably hear from people concerning this being hypocritical behavior on my part due to my aversion to violence.

Kimbo's a tough guy, but he's not a trained fighter. His experience consists of riding around Miami in a van with a video camera looking for people to fight on the street. I've seen a good deal of his street fights, and he usually picked guys who kind of look mean and tough, but who are ultimately fat and out of shape.

He was a paper tiger, destined for failure.

I think EliteXC is pretty much done, their number 1 fighter was taken out in 14 seconds by an actual fighter, that has been training since he was 6. Now he isn't the best fighter, but the kid was a fighter far better than the last 3 guys Kimbo faced at Elite.....all no names just thrown in to give him a win. Fighting amatures and wanna be tough guys is a completely different thing than fighting in a professional fight, Ken Shamrock was supposed to be one of his big name fighters....however Shamrock hasn't won a fight in 4 years.

Elite really doesn't have the greatest of stock fighters, their next top fighter maybe Andrei Arlovski or Tito Ortiz who's last three fights ended with 2 losses and a draw. So who knows, but I doubht EliteXC is going to be around for that much longer if they don't get any quality fighters. Kimbo was just a hyped up brute with no skill.
