Love it

I've been watching the show from day one.  Nerds can be funny, they remind me of some of the quirky personalitys on this site with Renee O. as the sane Penny.

We love this show. I am actually surprised that my hubby likes it...he enjoys things like 'friday night lights' and 'the unit'

and yes, some of the quirky personalities remind me of a few on this site as well!  Smiling

Don't know about the penny thing...  hahaha

I'll try

How about a lot of Ham;  Hambydammit & deludedgod  combo  with cpt.pineapple in the roll of Penny.

Nah Jeffrick, I would make a different list.

Sheldon like to talk about complicated stuff that nobody else has a clue about. He also has not idea what is going on around him. That sounds to me like Luminon.

Leonard is nowhere near as bad as Sheldon. But he still has his white board. That would be Hambydammnit.

Penny obviously likes to get laid and therefore cannot be captain pineapple. Jill Swift would be my pick for the role.

Leslie is much more like captain pineapple. Smart as a whip but somehow still manages to get drawn into stuff she should not. Although she and Leonard have done the nasty so the analogy is imperfect.

sortta agree

I can agree with the way you list Hamby and Luminon,  but Sheldon is a clear as glass atheist even when his bible quoting mother is around, this is deffinatly not Luminon.

My reference to cpt.pineapple as Penny was for that clip only,  she was clearly trying to carry on a conversation that was well over head and hoping someone gets her out of it.

Most of the time Penny is JillSwift,  with a little Renee O. thrown in whenever Wolowitz gets out of hand.

I see Leslie as Greek Goddess, a smart girl who knows what she wants and when she wants it.

I see myself unfortunately as a Wolowitz, the engineer with occaisonal insights, some comic relief and completely unabashed around everyone. On the other hand I'm twice his size and my hormones (if not ego) are in check.

ahhhhhh!

But Jill I always think of you and cheese cake.   I would like to see you in some real "cheese cake" photos'.

Trust me (if you dare)  it was and is a complement.

Well thank you Renee, thank

Well thank you Renee, thank you very much.  I've just sat and watched the 9 episodes that are available to me on cable and I have a new addiction in my life, just what I needed!  I don't know where else to get my fix!  If end up robbing people for money or getting involved in criminal hi-jinks so I can see more of this show... well I think we all know where the blame lies.

Well you are welcome. Anytime I can pull someone else into my own addiction, the more complete my life becomes!  Smiling
