Brütal Legend
Who else is getting this game tomorrow? Just curious.
I played the demo and <3 this game so much. I was a little on the fence but the demo pushed it over into must-buy territory for me, along with No More Heroes 2.

Okay, I just played the ps3 demo after doing the 360 one.
There are noticable differences. The ps3 demo has a lot more graphically going on, more elements on display at once. Both from "effects" and things like meteors in the background making scenes look more epic, where the 360 version just uses a haze.
The ps3 demo has strange audio problems though. Moving away from someone talking gives an echo, and music/gameplay audio do not mesh as well as they do on the 360 (which dials down the music automatically for voice in the demo).
The 360 version does better anti-aliasing, but shows less on the screen. I found the controls to be more responsive on the ps3, and I found playing on the ps3 version is much easier to identify what you are doing. (360 version has blurring issues from effects, which cause it to be difficult to see what you are doing at times)
I am hoping the problems with each respective version are corrected. If the ps3 audio issues are, I will probably end up getting it because it looked visually better, and because of free multiplayer. The 360 version will probably require you to pay to play, which I'm not much interested in.

Haven't heard much about this game. Gone back to The Force Unleashed since I realised it has trophies now, and still trying for the bugged and elusive Auf Weidersehen Petrovic trophy from GTAIV. Then I've got to try the Uncharted 2 multiplayer Beta.
I have noticed that a few PS3 titles are starting to take advantage of the superior power lately though. I imagine they'll have that bug fixed by release. It's usually the obvious ones you can count on being dealt with. If not by release, a lot of companies are good at patching after release.

Well, considering release is today...that left them with like 5 days to bugfix.
Well I beat the game. It reminds me a lot of Ratchet and Clank, but centered around metal.
The music in the game is great. They have a lot more songs than I thought they would, from artists I thought would be neglected.
I have to say I was impressed. The game left me wanting more though, but it is open world and there are other things to do...so I am probably going to roam around getting upgrades, freeing dragons, etc etc.

From what I heard Dethklok (the metal band from the show Metalocalypse) was supposed to have some music in that game. Did that happen?

I don't know, there are a LOT of songs, and I only unlocked two bonus so far. One of them was Tenacious D (the metal).
They have In Flames, Iced Earth...so many metal bands, and so many songs.
Seriously, they have options to organize your songs, and turn on/off ones from your custom playlist, and even then I don't know all the songs. To put it this way, I can listen for 3 hours of it rotating through songs and it doesn't start over again. I don't think it even made it halfway through the list.
I don't think I've heard dethklok yet though. I think they must be in some of the bonus songs that you have to unlock, like the metal was.

Oh yeah, I remember hearing about this game in development a year ago or so now. My roommate is a Jack nut, so if I mention it to him he'll probably pick it up.
