Numbering Theist Arguments. :D
In the webcam chatroom, we decided it would be really cool if we could say something like, "He's pulling a number 12!" when a theist started a tired, old argument we've all heard a Brazilian times (nods to old Bush joke).
This is what we've come up with so far:
1. Pascal's Wager
2. Watchmaker argument
3. "Unmoved Mover" argument
Of course, this is subject to change. I'd like to list the arguments in order of most to least common...or perhaps most to least annoying?
In the RRS stickam room, someone posted a website that listed the top theistic arguments, but I didn't click on it in time. I just did a quick Google, but it didn't pop up...probably didn't enter the right search parameters.
Anyway, it would be great to form a comprehensive list with the proper titles. You've heard them a Brazilian® times, now help me form the list.

Copying the rules of the Freethinker's forum here so everyone will see them as they read through the posts.
From this point forward the moderators will be destroying posts made by theists in the "Freethinking Anonymous" forum. If you are a theist please be careful not to waste your time posting in this forum by looking at the top of the screen to determine which forum you are in when posting. If you are an atheist and want theists to be able to weigh in on your topic, use "General Conversation" or "Atheist vs. Theist."

This is a wonderful idea... maybe have a list of TOP 5 rebuttes and then all the rest because there are so many...only because theists tend to confuse themselves with their own arguements.
"Please see rebuttle number 2, arguemnt C."
That Top 10 list is great too.
Judge: god, you have been accused of existence! What do you have to say for yourself?
god: I am innocent until proven guilty, your honour!
#? The reason you do not believe is because you take the bible to literally, you shouldnt question the inspired word of god.
Hmm......Inspired word of God and I am not supposed to take it literally? I get this one ALOT

This list is a great idea! It's just so cool to say: "Hey, he's pulling a No. 3!". And I have yet to stumble across a complete list of rebuttals to all these claims and "arguments" (I've seen most of them debunked here a dozen times though). As for claims about creationism...

This is a great resource for common creationist claims.

I don't know if this is feasible or not but has someone thought about (or maybe already created) an atheist wiki? It would be best on something like this site where there is already a way to "weed out" the theists to help prevent some of the vandalism. It just seems to me a wiki where you can just type in the tired old theist argument and viola' get the rebuttal that all the atheists have contributed to would work best for something like this.
