Kathy Grifin open invitation

I will be contacting Kathy Griffin to talk to her about her recent censorship, and hope to have her on the show when we can get our audio fixed.

CENSORED:

Please sign the petition to stop censoring Kathy Griffin.

I can't wait til Donahue from the Catholic league, directly names us. He is a perfect example of how last strangeholds of religion will end up leaving kicking and screaming like children, dumb whiny bitchy children. He's indirectly addressed things involving our efforts.

Eminem and Proof freestyle.

It's in my blog because this is a slice of the sort of music I have a lot of respect for....

This is a very rare Eminem and Proof freestyle. This was an interview that was done with Kurt Loder on MTV when Eminem was coming up. They took the Finale of the show to a freestyle in a car where Eminem and Proof actually freestyle; something that a lot of you emcees "claim" to do now-a-days.

Holistic Medicine and Vibration

There was a "Holistic Health Fair" here in town yesterday, and I was amazed at how many of these quacks talk about vibration. Reflexology, for one, seems to me as nothing more than using a vibrator on someone's foot and thinking that it'll resonate through their body to cure their back pains, etc.

I work with someone who actually believes this bullshit. She showed me a bottle of "fountain of youth" water she got from the fair, and I had a good laugh over it. It's obviously an Arrowhead water bottle with the label ripped off, it still has the sticky stuff on the side of the bottle. The top was open when she bought it too. Apparently what they do is take this water and run it through a machine that "changes the vibration" of the water. Somehow this makes it healthier, and the lady selling it even claimed that you don't need sunblock when you drink it because it makes your skin more resistant to UV light. Sounds like Snake Oil to me.

Have you really denied the Holy Spirit like Jesus said?

What did Jesus actually mean by "denying the Holy Spirit... unforgivable sin''?

If you guys are truly denying the Holy Spirit, at least do it properly.

Just by saying that you deny Him does'nt mean you have denied Him, no matter how many times you say it!

Because to deny the Holy Spirit means you have to kill yourself!

You see, as long as you are alive theres always a chance you may change your mind... as long as you are alive you can be forgiven!

Even if you kill your own mother you can be forgiven...as long as you are alive you have a chance to turn around and change...but when you're dead its sealed.

I have proof that God does exist!

I decided to do some research into the purported existence of god. Surely the following statistics prove there has to be a god. One has to agree that jc does, in fact, exist if only Tsunami deaths are considered (god works in mysterious ways!)!

Were they all sinners? Nonbelievers and non-christians were, for sure, sinners!!! But, he also took some of the faithful as a sign of his love and mercy! No matter how young they were. Even the unborn children!..... By drowning and/or crushing them! His love and mercy are boundless!!!

Hopefully, this will end the debate over the existence of a god. COMMON SENSE (Reason, logic, rational judgment, etc.), proves he/she/it or whatever does exist! How anyone can deny his existence is beyond me!

Two Articles to Cure Creationism

The purpose of this entry, as the title states, is to introduce you to two contemporary articles that explain in fairly simple language how evolution is a fact and how creationism is the lie.

When I first decided to read more about evolution, these articles were tremendously helpful to me, and they really motivated me to learn more. I have decided to link them for anyone who is still uncertain about evolution and is looking for some literature that won't give them a reading headache.

1) 15 Answers to Creationist Nonsense (John Rennie)

This first article is from Scientific American (2002) and delivers exactly what its title suggests. You are given 15 of the most commonly offered arguments from creationists (and/or Intelligent Design advocates) and then swift, concise rebuttals. If you're straddling the fence about evolution, you may want to start here.

Never received my order(s) of The God Movie

Has anyone had a problem getting his/her order of the "God Movie" (The God Who Wasn't There) as I have? I ordered a copy on 5/11 and never received it. My computer crashed and I lost the order information. Then on August 18th I ordered another copy...forgetting about my original order... and again I did not receive the DVD!!!! Sad

I sent Paul Sapient (A co-founder of Rational Responders) e-mails both through My Space & RR and have not received a reply!!!

I lodged a dispute with PayPal asking that the 5/11 order be refunded and the 8/18 be processed.

If you are thinking about ordering the DVD ..WAIT until you see the results of my poll. If this blog disappears... RR has removed it.... If the problem is resolved.....I will post the information for you. COME ON, PAUL, GIVE ME MY CREDIT FOR THE FIRST ORDER AND SNED ME THE SECOND ORDER...... Otherwise, you will go to hell Smiling

Some mathematical infinity problems to mess with your head

If I have an infinitely large bag and I take on a series of steps. Step 1 consists of adding 10 ping-pong balls, numbered 1 through 10, then removing ping-pong ball number 1. Step 2 consists of adding balls labeled 11 through 20, then removing ball #2. So, step n is adding balls 10n-9 through 10n, then taking out ball # n.

Q1: "After" an infinite number of steps, how many balls are in the bag?

Let us now say that step n consists of adding 10 balls, then removing 1 of them and none of them are labeled.

Q2: "After" an infinite number of steps, how many balls are in the bag?
